wow… it’s a ghost town here after what looks like 90% pulled out this morning. After sleeping in, after a middle of the night IT work, it was a day to get some play time in… First the doggos got some time in the dog park, Then it was off to some floating time on

Adventure 3 – Day 3
The day was spent relaxing and doing very little, aside from a quick shopping trip. It ended with Daiquiris, Darlington, and grilled chicken.

Adventure 3 – Lake Pontchartrain – Day 1 (and 2)
Our first “real” trip away from home. we’ll be gone from August 31 through September 3rd. A labor day vacation. Got a bit of a late start… got on the road around noon. We got some rain, some heavy rain, on the drive here. Arrived about 4 and had a damp setup, did not set

Adventure 2, Day 3
Spent a lazy day watching the local entertainment… seen above. Enjoyed the afternoon floating around the lazy river pool. Did a little wandering around, before grilling up some steaks for dinner. After a good night’s sleep, it’s packing time in the morning.

After last night, today has just been a lazy, do little, relaxing day.As you can see, we added a pet fence for the dogs, upgraded the steps with carpet and a handrail. We have a great view of the lake, but the dogs have been more interested in the local squirl. Photos of this trips
